Sometimes you meet people and you immediately know there is something you like about them. I felt this way when I sat down over coffee with Dan and Heather. It’s such a great feeling when you can have a conversation with someone and it seems like you have known them forever. It may also help that they are huge cat lovers. 🙂
Dan and Heather were hoping to have their engagement session while the fall leaves were still in full blast. Unfortunately, we had to schedule it later than we anticipated and we didn’t expect to be shooting with a colorful background.
A few days before the shoot I looked outside of my home and noticed the leaves had almost completely fallen from the trees. We decided it would be best to shoot in Denver and let architecture be our pretty backdrop. Boy were we surprised when we arrived at Civic Center Park to find a few great patches of trees with loads of color!
I love finding different angles when I shoot. This photo on the left was really fun for me because I got to climb on top of a huge concrete post! It makes me feel like a kid again especially when it’s somewhere I probably shouldn’t be. Hey, live a little dangerously!
I spotted this building below from a mile away as we were driving up. I was thrilled when I realized we would be shooting within walking distance and I just had to go there.
I kind of loose my mind a little bit when I see lighting like this and I don’t care who notices. This is what I live for!
